November 24th, 2024 – Performing to a full house at the Illusion Magic Lounge in Santa Monica , “The Diary Of Magic,” a live event that retells my travels around the world inspired by my grandfathers own expeditions to far off places and his intrigue with magic. The audience was amazing, and I couldn’t have been more honored or thrilled to be performing and sharing these facets of my life and journeys with everyone!
The key message is showing the similarities and the link between cultures – The importance of traditions and history, and the missing links in our human lineage that may help us all find common ground. Remote or very old cultures and communities are a direct link to the ancient world. Their stories, ways of life, and traditions may lend a better understanding into how connected we all are and where our very origins derived from.
I strongly believe that reassessing our history, from the ancient Egyptians and Sumerians to the Mayans and other Mesoamericans, we will find that there is a missing segment of our history that has been overlooked, or perhaps, misinterpreted. As evidence suggests, the pyramids of Giza are considered marvels of engineering, with no indication that they were built by the Egyptians themselves. Stories of gods, men and women taking on humanoid shapes and possessing enormous power, are recurring themes throughout time – I believe there is something we are missing in our history, which will lend insight into how we came to be on earth. I call this the true history of our existence.
Traveling around the world is a way to connect with these fragmented pieces of our past, while using a form of magic as entertainment to inspire the sense of wonder again, the “what if”, the importance of questioning our reality and everything we were taught to believe and know- The common ground we all have, the universal language – magic, a way to bridge cultures through mystery and wonder. Within that wonder we draw ever closer to understanding our shrouded history and our true origin on Earth, establishing a greater understanding of our place in the universe.
